Creators of the Indurrito (an Indian burrito wrapped in roti), food truck Hot Indian Foods opens its stand at Midtown Global Market today, located in the former home of The Left-Handed Cook. This is the truck's first brick n' mortar location, and it will be serving the same menu, focused on that Indurrito (which comes with chicken, lamb, spinach paneer, vegan channa, or aloo gobi fillings) and its well-known Indi frites (Indian-seasoned fries).

This week, the stand will only be open for lunch (11 a.m. - 2 p.m.). Starting May 19, the stand will be open for Midtown Global Market's regular hours (10 a.m. - 8 p.m.). The truck is off the streets today, but it looks like it should be back serving mobile Indurritos soon.
