What: Art-A-Whirl is back this weekend for its 19th year. The Northeast art and music festival is the largest open studio tour in the country. Check out local artists, live music, and food and craft beer. Indeed will be releasing their L.S.D. ale and lining up the food trucks including Vellee Deli. 612 Brew will also be hosting a number of trucks. Find more info about the art festival here.
2) Stanley's Craft Beer and Bacon Fest
When: Saturday, 2 p.m.
Where: Stanley's Northeast Bar Room
What: Sometimes you pair fine wine with cheese and sometimes you pair craft beer with bacon. Stanley's NE is sticking with beer and throwing a craft beer and bacon fest. Local and regional craft beer is paired with kicked up bacon including candied jalapeno and Caribbean jerk. Check out more info here.
3) 6th Annual Rosé Tent Tasting
When: Sunday, 2 p.m.
Where: Solo Vino
What: There is a big old parking lot party at Solo Vino this Sunday under a tent. The Selby Avenue wine shop will be sampling over 100 rosé wines plus another 30 whites, reds, and beers. There will also be Kramarczuk's sausage and Easy & Oskey-made cocktails featuring Solveig gin and Ålander spiced rum from Far North Spirits. Find ticket information here.
4) Pig & Pinot Patio Party
When: Friday, 4:30 p.m.
Where: Butcher & the Boar

5) Minnesota Cheese Festival
When: Sunday, 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Where: The International Bazaar at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds
What: The Minnesota Cheese Festival is one of the country's largest celebrations of regionally produced cheese and cheese-related products. The festival offers demonstrations, opportunities to meet the cheese makers, and a ton of samplings (including wine and beer) at the State Fairgrounds. Find tickets and other information here.
