Cider Week Starts Today, Plus Cider Comes to TBF

Starting today, local brewpub Town Hall will be hosting a week of cider-focused events at its three locations: Town Hall Brewery, Town Hall Tap, and Town Hall Lanes. Throughout the week, Town Hall Tap will feature a different specialty cider release every day at 4 p.m.; the Brewery and Lanes will be serving more than 10 ciders on draft. Every day also brings a special event, including a cider tasting on Tuesday and a cider bicycle crawl on Saturday, which also includes Northeast cider taproom Sociable Cider Werks. In honor of Cider Week, Sociable Cider has also released two special ciders (available at their taproom and all Town Hall locations): Habanero Cucumber and Old World (with wild yeast ferment).

And, in other cider news, acclaimed North Loop restaurant The Bachelor Farmer announced on its Facebook page that it has launched a new hard cider program, "featuring some of the best ciders from around the world."
