The recently-opened Minneapolis outpost of Midwest mini-chain Louie's Wine Dive is hosting its grand opening party tonight, with complementary appetizers and drinks from 4-6:30 p.m. Located at 800 Lake Street, Louie's Wine Dive opened about two weeks ago, bringing its signature "big pour" (a six ounce pour, or about a quarter of a bottle) to Uptown.
Other Louie's locations exist in Des Moines, Kansas City, and Omaha, but each location is locally-owned. Lunch, dinner, wine, and happy hour menus are all available on the Louie's Wine Dive Minneapolis website. The menu features dishes like 4 pork gnocchi (with La Quercia prosciutto, pork shoulder, ground pork, and Italian sausage) and the Minne Meltdown sandwich (olive oil poached walleye on grilled naan bread).
