Welcome to our photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographer Katie Cannon visits some of the city's great restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, Red Stag Supperclub.

Open since 2007, Northeast new-school supper club the Red Stag has cemented its status as a neighborhood favorite, offering up creative takes on supper club fare, with a focus on local and sustainable ingredients. Friday night at Red Stag means Friday Night Fish Fry, with a fried fish basket of either cod or walleye in addition to the usual menu offerings. But it's not all fried fish and supper club standards; the restaurant has started moving its menu toward more small plates (like the chicken paella and asparagus and trout salad pictured).
Photographer Katie Cannon stopped by last Friday night to shoot the scene, complete with lots of brews and cocktails, and a full Friday night house. Take a look.
