Next week, Korean cuisine is making its way to downtown Minneapolis: Dong Hae Korean Grill and Sushi opens its doors on Friday, June 27. The former Nami space has been in transition since shuttering early this year after a 12-year run in the Warehouse District. According to Dong Hae's Facebook page, the restaurant will be serving "authentic Korean cuisine along with savory Japanese dishes" with the option to indulge in "all-you-can-eat sushi, or choose from one of our delicious Korean entrees." Dong Hae's Facebook page also mentions that they have "gathered highly experienced chefs from Las Vegas and Chicago in [an] effort to offer only the best."

Meanwhile, over on Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, Dara Moskowitz-Grumdahl runs down Dong Hae's online menu prior to it being taken down (the site appears to be under maintenance currently). She notes, "$14 sizzling stone pot bibimbop; $13 and $14 fresh wheat noodle dishes, $15 vegetarian sushi platters and $20 and $25 fish-centered ones".
