With its opening last week, Tiny Diner brings organic-eggs-anytime and lots more updated diner classics to Powderhorn. The restaurant comes from restaurateur-about-town Kim Bartmann, and the space shows the same attention to detail as Bartmann's many other restaurants, which include Barbette, Red Stag Supperclub, and Pat's Tap.
At Tiny Diner, the interior is bright and cheery, with green walls, rainbow light fixtures, and multi-colored accent tiles, while still retaining a diner-ish feel (think booths, stools, and simple table settings). The outside boasts an expansive outdoor patio, which features the restaurant's solar array for a roof and a giant willow thicket from local company Cheeriup.
Eater Minneapolis sent photographer Katie Cannon to shoot the new space. Take a look.
