Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are five choice dining and drinking events going on around the Twin Cities:

When: Monday, 7 to 10 p.m.
Where: Guthrie Theater
What: Honorary Chef Chair Tim McKee invites you to the Guthrie Theater to sample food and drinks from some of the Twin Cities' top restaurants (including Heyday, Libertine, and Salty Tart). A ticket will get you food, beverages (beer, wine, cocktails), silent auction, and entertainment. VIP tickets will get you even more than that. Find tickets and more information here.

When: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Historic Schmidt Brewery
What: Stop by the Schmidt Artist Lofts (at the former Schmidt Brewery on St. Paul's W. 7th St.) for this free, family-friendly event that celebrates German culture through food, music, dance, art, education, and other activities. When: Saturday, 6 to 10 p.m.
Where: Uppercut Boxing Gym
What: Beer and art! Sample brews from twelve Minnesota craft breweries, chat with local artists, peruse posters, and then eat some food from Natedogs and Borough. A $20 ticket includes a take home pint glass and unlimited samples for the evening. Tickets and other information can be found here.

When: Wednesday, 4 to 8 p.m.
Where: Chicago Ave S & E 52nd St
What: The first ever Nokomis Farmers Market kicks off Wednesday and is just one of three chances this summer to get a mid-week farmers market fix in Nokomis. There will be produce, cheeses, breads, canned goods, treats, and more. The Moral Omnivore, Foxy Falafel, and Dumpling will be on site for some hot eats. When: Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 612 Brew
What: This is a food truck fundraiser that benefits the Northeast Community. Enjoy brews from 612 Brew, Northgate, Indeed, Boom Island, Fulton, and Sociable Cider Werks. And eat food from trucks including Anchor Fish & Chips, GastroTruck, and Undead Frank's. Need more? There will be live music, too. Find more information here.

Sip gin and learn stuff at Tastemakers as it has been rescheduled and now happening on Tuesday (6 to 8 p.m.). Grumpy's NE is tapping a firkin of Flat Earth's Ovni Ale and pairing it with a special bouillabaisse to nosh on (Friday, 4 p.m.). Hop the greenline and hit up Food Truck Friday at Union Depot (Friday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.). 11 Wells Spirits is holding an open house (Saturday, 1 to 4 p.m.). There's a summer beer party happening at Zeke's Unchained Animal with you guessed it, beer! You can also watch World Cup action there. (Saturday 2 to 9 p.m.). Speaking of World Cup, brand new taproom, LTD Brewing has a new projector and invites you to stop in for beer and soccer.
