When: Sunday, 2 to 9 p.m.
Where: Sociable Cider Werks
What: Sociable is throwing a block party in honor of summer and the NE Mpls brewing scene. Along with brews from Sociable, check out beer from Indeed, Fulton, Bauhaus, Northgate and more. When: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Loring Park
What: Tour de Fat, a traveling music, beer, and bike festival, is back for its 15th year. Loring Park welcomes eclectic entertainment from musical acts to yo-yo performers, bike contests and vaudeville acts. Not to mention Fat Tire beer, food trucks, and so much more. When: Saturday, 3 to 7 p.m.
Where: Bayfront Festival Park
What: The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild invites you to venture north to meet the brewers, enjoy unlimited craft beer samples, local food vendors, beer-centered activities, educational components, live music, and so much more. Tickets are still available and more information for this rain or shine event can be found here.

When: Friday and Saturday, 6 p.m.
Where: Union Restaurant
What: There's an experimental "pop-up" from chef Stewart Woodman happening this weekend at The Workshop, the new concept at Union Restaurant (set to open this fall). This limited-time pop-up features a five-course dinner plus four drinks per couple. Tickets must be purchased in advance and can be found here along with a sample menu.

When: Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Central Ave NE
What: Another Sunday of car-free biking with Open Streets is taking place on Sunday on Central Ave NE. The family friendly event invites you to explore the neighborhood and all its offerings. This includes restaurants The Mill NE and Sen Yai Sen Lek. There's also yoga, a bike rodeo, music, and so much more. For maps, information, and other details, click here.

parlour.jpgAlso of Note: Parlour's cocktail class with Jesse Held is happening this weekend (Saturday, 2 to 4 p.m.) with a couple more classes are coming up. Birchwood Cafe's coverage of the Tour de France (and the race itself) concludes on Sunday. El Burrito Mercado celebrates 35 years with a fiesta (Sunday, noon). Want to learn more about wine? How about a wine boot camp (Saturday, 2 to 5 p.m.)? Get your tickets for Cured & Crafted, a ham and beer pairing event that takes place next week. There is a Surly beer dinner taking place at coup d'état August 4 and reservations are encouraged sooner rather than later.
