Locavore Eatery to Bring 'Upscale Casual' Fare to Nokomis

New restaurant Locavore Eatery plans to open in South Minneapolis's Nokomis neighborhood. Located at 46th and Hiawatha, the restaurant will be an "upscale casual eatery and bar featuring the yields and bounties of local farmers, CSAs, and purveyors whenever possible." The restaurant's taken to Hoodstarter, a new "communitarian" approach on crowdfunding, in hopes of raising $40,000 from the local community. Head here to see more renderings and donate.
