Vellee Deli Rolls Into Permanent Location In Downtown Minneapolis

Spicy food fans rejoice! There is some "vellee" good news for the upcoming winter. Vellee Deli, the sleek, black food truck will park for the winter and owners Joyce Truong and Will Xiong are moving their fusion eatery indoors. Since 2011 Vellee Deli has won over fans with a mix of Asian and Mexican flavors. The banh mi sandwich is a traditional Vietnamese favorite served on a crusty roll with either grilled pork or a ginger, lemongrass sausage. The Korean BBQ burrito has been recognized as the best in the Twin Cities with fiery, tart kimchi, bulgogi-style short rib, seasoned rice and a red salsa.

Last winter Vellee Deli proved to have a ravenous following with their successful cold-weather pop-up inside of Uptown's Crema Cafe, where fans lined up in the bitter cold to get their Vellee fix.
While the address hasn't yet been made public, Vellee Deli shared this video on its website today and reported that the space is 2500 square feet.
