Heavy Table, the local online food magazine is hosting another North Coast Nosh event alongside chef Sean Sherman, otherwise known as the Sioux Chef. Sherman is working towards opening a restaurant featuring indigenous cuisine.
Inside the Minnesota History Center on Thursday February 19th from 7 - 10 p.m. more than 15 purveyors will gather and highlight the expansive of delicious food from our region. (It's not just hot dish anymore.) Skip the tots and ready your mouths for maple candy, winter stew and wild rice pasta.
In addition to the eats there will be presentations from Sherman, author Heid Erdrich and Lenny Russo of Heartland. Plus, guests will have the opportunity to explore the Minnesota Historical Society's collection and the "Modern Spirit" exhibit by Ojibwe artist George Morrison.
Tickets are $20 and available here.
