Behind the Art Deco Doors of The Commodore

The historic bar will re-open before the end of the month.

Glittering bottles, a baby grand, black and white tiles and undeniable glamour await diners and drinking inside The Commodore. The room appears untouched by the hand of time, save for a few important modern touches. Those glittering bottles will mostly be locally distilled spirits. Chef Chris Gerster will take inspiration from the era the bar was built for a menu that serves diners of the moment.

Before we can smell and taste the new era of The Commodore, photographer Katie Cannon captured the timeless beauty of this room.

The Commodore will re-open October 27.
