The much-anticipated Merriam Park restaurant Heirloom, the new spot from chef Wyatt Evans, appears to be coming along toward opening soon, according to the restaurant's Instagram. Over the weekend, the restaurant posted a picture of the kitchen dining counter with hashtagged hints that they are on their "finishing touches" with their mosaic tile work and terrazo floors.
The restaurant, located at Cretin and Marshall avenues in St. Paul's Merriam Park, comes from Evans, formerly of W.A. Frost. The restaurant will feature farm to table cuisine with hinted dishes including a seed and grain porridge with soft boiled egg and parsnip jerky.
