The holidays are coming, you need whiskey.

Let them drink whiskey

The Mill City Whiskey Review features over 80 whiskey samples as well as access to complimentary gourmet appetizer bar and an introduction to a variety of whiskey brands in the main tasting room.  The VIP Tasting Pass includes early access with exclusive tastings, private tasting seminar, complimentary gourmet appetizers, souvenir tasting glass, tasting program for tastings notes and Mill City Whiskey Review tote bag.

Trip around the sun

Insight Brewing celebrates its one-year anniversary with what is being billed as an “epic outdoor party” with a special menu from Gastrotruck, tons of live music, interactive games and prizes and a release of the 2014 Double-Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, Gravity Well. Only 1000 750ml bottles are available. This weekend’s forecast is on the chilly side, but heated tents, a fire pit and a few beers should keep you cozy.

Please bring a nonperishable canned food item for the local SACA food shelf.

Linden Hills Holiday Farmers Market

The Linden Hills Holiday Market + Craft Revival returns this year with products from over a dozen local vendors, including Minnesota Hmong Agricultural Cooperative, Blue Ox Organics, and Racing Heart Farm. There will be lots of gifts for everyone on your list, and even a few treats for yourself, like kombucha, cheese, and artisanal sodas. Don’t worry about the cold, the market will be held inside the greenhouse at Sunnyside Gardens. Market runs Sundays through December 20th.
