That wailing noise you heard over the weekend was a thousand carb lovers crying into their toast. One of the best brunch services in the Twin Cities will come to a halt at the end of this month. Eric and Andrew Dayton's restaurant has been a popular Sunday morning gathering spot since chef Paul Berglund and team introduced the morning servce which features a red wheeled cart that arrives moments after guests are seated, offering beverages and pastries to stave off the hangries.
Via the restaurant's Facebook page they said, "We’ve loved sharing Sunday mornings with all of you, but as we prepare to open our new cafe, we feel the need to focus our time and energy on our most important priorities." Sunday suppers will continue, but the full menu will now also be served that evening. The final service will be Sunday after Thanksgiving. As always, there are no reservations. Seats are available on a first come basis.
The Bachelor Farmer cafe is expected to open in January of 2016.
