We've been waiting, dreaming and peering inside the windows at 5003 Bryant Avenue South and today we can finally waltz through that front door. St. Genevieve, the buvette (French-style neighborhood pub) is the second restaurant from chef/owner Steven Brown who also operates Linden Hills critically lauded and neighborhood beloved restaurant.
The kitchen team who has joined Brown in creating the culinary experience includes executive chef Paul Backer and chef de cuisine Jason Hansen (formerly of Chicago's Blackbird).
The restaurant was designed by Heather Keena of Machine Scenic, who also worked with Brown on the humble, comfy, classic room that is Tilia. The menu includes little bites, open faced sandwiches and a few entrees. The bar focuses on bubbles with a wine list written by sommelier Brie Roland.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
