While we're still clutching our final few servings of his dreamy cassoulet, Vincent Francoual has already plotted out his next move after his eponymous restaurant will close at the end of the year. Once Vincent A Restaurant fades into downtown Minneapolis history, Vincent the man will be overseeing the culinary program at The Local, The Liffey, Kieran's Irish Pub and Cooper.
It turns out Francoual and Cara's CEO Peter Killen have been friends for years. The new business relationship was said to have grown out of several conversations and more than a couple of pints of Guinness. In the new year the chef will be visiting each of the restaurants and making a few tweaks to the pub fare menus.
Vincent A Restaurant's final service will be New Year's Eve.
