Beginning at 11 a.m. today, the Dakota's pastry chef Katie Elsing will be serving more mobile sweets than her usually elegantly plated fare you'll find inside the restaurant. Raspberry truffle pops, petite coffee cakes, dark chocolate brownies, cheddar scones with honey butter will join assorted cookies and tarts. Red Velvet and dark chocolate cupcakes are perfect early V Day gifts. And, if perhaps the Valentine's Day isn't going quite as well as you'd like, there will also be chocolate nemesis cake and shortbread pastry.
