Max Thompson's version of the 128 Cafe continues to evolve. In addition to the ribs the restaurant's reputation was built upon, he's added a menu packed with creative, word influenced flavors - like an irresistible Korean rice bowl with house-made kimchi, inspired tomato soup garnished with pimento cheese croutons and a fantastic beef burrito.
The burritos are taking over the menu on March 23 from 11 to 1 p.m. Varieties available will include carne asada with guacamole, pork with green chili and a grilled vegetarian variety. Accouterments include cool ranch flavored chips, Mexican hot cocoa and spiked limeade.
The first 50 customers will get a free burritos and the rest are available until 1 p.m. or they're gone.
