The best dinner party on the radio is coming to the Twin Cities. Hosts Brendan Francis Newnam and Rico Gagliano have invited Michael Ian Black along, writer Marlon James, hip hop artist Lizzo and musician Angel Olson to the table.
For those unfamiliar, the weekly American Public Media show begins with an icebreaker, involves a custom cocktail (in our case created by none other than Nick Kosevich of Bittercube Bitters and Eat Street Social), scintillating conversation, a playlist for the evening and a lot of laughs.
It's sure to be more fun than a hotdish at a hootenanny. The show will be recorded Saturday May 9 with doors opening at 7 p.m. at St. Paul's Fitzgerald Theater. Tickets are $25 for general seating or $35 for reserved. Tickets will be available from the Fitzgerald Box OfficeEtix or by phone at 1-800-514-3849.
