Cossetta's has come a long way from the humble beginnings of a little family food shop. Now the restaurant has expanding to a full on complex in downtown St. Paul. There's the upstairs Louis, with the beautiful patio, the pizza/pasta/ and sandwich casual eatery downstairs, a patisseria with all manner of baked delights and a stunning array of gelato plus an Italian market and bakery. Apparently, that wasn't enough for Dave Cossetta or his customers. The Pioneer Press is reporting that there will soon be a rotisseria that will soon take shape inside the complex.
The rotisseria will sell chickens and prime rib either by the pound or in sandwich form. A rotating menu, pun intended, will include porketta, lamb and other locally sourced meats. Additionally, a selection of small plates will be available
Construction is expected to be completed by this fall.
