Surly takes food and beer pairings to a new height

The much-anticipated opening of Surly’s Brewer’s Table is slated for Friday. Located upstairs at Minneapolis’ brewery mecca, Brewer’s Table takes food and beer pairing to the next level. Executive Chef Jorge Guzman and his team have created what Surly is touting as "an elevated and ambitious dining menu" that promised to challenge visitors with "trailblazing pairings." Unpredictable and innovative dishes like a black tea egg with hazelnuts and black garlic puree are perfectly executed in a comfortable, unpretentious setting.

More time at the bar, always a good thing

Starting Tuesday through Labor day, the bar at Spoon and Stable will be open at 4 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. in order to serve folks in the area who are lucky enough to have summer work hours. The bar will serve chips snacks and the full menu, plus bar menu, will begin at 5 p.m.
