Ahoy, me hearties! Meet me at the Pirate Barrrr Crawl

On June 20th, Pirates take over the sleepy town of Excelsior for the first annual Pirate Barrr Crawl. Enjoy specials at local businesses including Adele’s Frozen Custard, Excelsior Brewing Co., and Bayside Grill. Pirate costumed strongly encouraged!

Food Truck Fest

Another weekend, another food truck fest, this time in Blaine. 45 food trucks will be selling their wares at the Blaine Sports Center from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Among the old favorites (like the o.g. Chef Shack) there are also new trucks like Cafe 128's Duck, Duck Gray Duck.

Pride Picnic for All

Families of every shade of the rainbow are invited to a Pride Family Picnic at the Como Lake Pavilion. From 11am to 2pm, enjoy a free lunch in the park and fun activities for the entire family.

Heirloom Pop Up

Chef Wyatt Evans’ upcoming new St. Paul restaurant, Heirloom, will hold a pop up dinner at The Third Bird. The first taste of what’s to come from W.A. Frost’s former chef will include lightly smoked Whitefish with succotash, ash coated brisket with glazed onions and sprouted grains and Minnesota strawberries with garden sorrel and frozen vanilla mascarpone.

Wine Tasting for Hipsters

New Vintage is a wine club for 20 and 30 somethings and this month’s meeting is at the luxurious Flux Apartments. Sip a flight of wine with Minnesota Monthly Editor in Chief Rachel Hutton along with panel of wine experts. Nibbles provided by Red Stag Supperclub.
