Ain’t no party like a Travail party

Celebrate summer with the cool cats at Travail at a lakeside bash in Robbinsdale. It’s Travail, so you know there will be killer food, great music and buckets of fun. Travailians can expect grilled corn, liquid nitrogen, lawn games and other shenanigans. Kickstarter backers of $50 and above get two tickets free.

Uptown Food Truck Fest

This Sunday, 60 food trucks will line up on Hennepin Avenue between Lake Street and 31st offering a huge variety of vittles like tacos, ice cream, pasties and falafel. Food truck fans can also enjoy beer from Lucid and wine from Surdyk’s while perusing the fantastic line up of trucks, which include Chef Shack, Moral Omnivore, Café Racer, Vellee Deli, Nate’s Dogs and more. Don’t leave Romper home alone! This is a dog friendly event.

Blues & Brews

Nicollet Island Pavilion will play host to the second annual Blues & Brews fundraiser for health organizations like Minnesota’s suicide prevention hotline, mental health services, homeless youth programs and more. Local breweries will offer beer tastings paired with delicious appetizers.
