Nicollet Avenue lands another new eatery with the forthcoming Ramen Kazama that will open this summer inside the former Mama's Pizza. The quick service shop from Matthew Kazama and Josh Floring will also serve a few other small dishes like salads and gyoza. Kazama was the former ramen chef at Fuji Ya.

Real deep dish pizza is making a return to the Twin Cities. An outpost of Giordano's will open at 2700 Hennepin Avenue on July 15.

Could Jerabek's be making a comeback? Clare Kennedy of the Mpls/St. Paul Business Journal reports that Edina-based MEZ Capital is looking to purchase the building and will not be razing the 100 year old bakery.
