Fall will herald the return of fresh brewed coffee and bakery scents wafting from 612 Selby Avenue in Saint Paul. The Pioneer Press reports that Mary Hogan-Bard will open her second Claddagh Coffee shop in the location that was recently known as Bars Bakery.
While the original shop is located in the West Seventh neighborhood, Hogan-Bard lives near what they are calling Claddagh 2 location. The addition of a bakery will allow Claddagh to make all of their scones, monster cookies, macaroons and more in house. There are also sandwich plans for a panini press.
Fair trade coffee and organic coffee will be available for lattes and the sort. If all goes well, the doors will open October 1.
