Saturday, August 8th
Smack Shack, the closest we get to an honest-to-goodness lobstah roll around these parts, is hosting an all-you-can-eat Louisiana style crayfish boil. But that’s not all. It’s also an all-you-can-drink hurricanes and beer fest. And music from Bruce McCabe, Martin Zeller and the Hardways and more! And a crawfish eating contest! Well that’s just cray cray… Sorry.
Tickets are $40.00 in advance and $50.00 at the door.
Pizza for everyone
The 12th annual Pizza Luce Block Party will feature bands like Har Mar Superstar and Dillinger Four, along with slices of pizza, brats (even vegan ones), tons of Summit beer and Izzy’s ice cream. Calories don’t count in August, people.
Sunday, August 9th
Can’t get enough Har Mar Superstar? Ease away Sunday morning’s hangover with drink and food specials at the Turf Club. They have a spiffy new kitchen and a heck of a brunch spread. The stuffed and smothered hash browns are sure to cure all your ills. Plus, there are giveaways and a Har Mar Superstar DJ set.
Craft Beer and Kitchen in Woodbury celebrates their one-year anniversary with craft beer (see what they did there?), domestic tall boys, and grilled dishes. There will be a bounce house and dunk tank for the kids and live music from bands War Poets and G.B. Leighton for everyone.
