The city of St. Paul has an issue with the restaurant's spiral staircase.

Beloved Dayton's Bluff spot The Strip Club Meat & Fish has run into an issue with the City of St. Paul. According to the Pioneer Press, the restaurant's spiral staircase that leads to the upstairs mezzanine has been deemed an unapproved "means of egress from the restaurant seating area" per a routine city fire inspection and "use must be discontinued immediately".

The restaurant continues to be open for business however, the 16 seats that the upstairs mezzanine provide will remain unoccupied until further notice.
