The same crew behind iPho by Saigon on University has opened i (Heart) pho at  850 Maryland Ave E in St. Paul.

While we're on the subject of tacos, Chipotle's Cultivate festival is fast approaching on August 22 and will draw upon national culinary talent like our adopted son, the king of bizarre eats Andrew Zimmern, Top Chef's Richard Blais, some guy named Gavin Kaysen, along with the fast-rising local chef stars Erik AndersonJamie Malone and Jim Christiansen. There will be music, food, cooking demonstrations and tons to eat from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Loring Park.

More immediately, it's a great weekend to get to know the Little Mekong district in Saint Paul. The Night Market takes place this Saturday and there are piles of delicious food available. Make absolutely certain you snag a spot in line for the food from LolaRosa. No one else in town is making Filipino food like this. Four cousins work together to churn out the high-spirited vibe and a little Bao Chicken Bao Wow. The fun starts at 4 p.m. today.
