Ryan Burnet has a track record with successful restaurants, from Barrio to Bar La Grassa, Burch and back again. Eastside, his latest endeavor, is set to open today.
Chef Remy Pettus' menu lists fresh, approachable dishes. Starters include calamari a la plancha with lemon, pistachios and tossed in shoyu, ($10), sunchoke soup served with lobster ($13) and a flat bread topped with burrata, pulled pork, mushrooms and a truffled balsamic sauce ($13).

Entrees range in price from $12 to $28. As promised, the cocktail list includes a selection of drinks highlighting sherry.
The doors open with a happy hour menu available at 4 p.m. today with full dinner service kicking off at 5 p.m.
