1) Sports, beer and bacon.
The Bacon and Beer Classic was created in an effort to combine some of the most beloved American traditions. Held in ballparks around the country local restaurants participate alongside local breweries. There will be over 40 different pork packed dishes from eateries like The Rabbit Hole, Gastrotruck, Psycho Suzi's, Wise Acres Eatery and more.
2) No need to take out your wallet while you are at the stadium.
There are two types of tickets available. General Admission includes bacon inspired dishes and craft beer samples, souvenir Bacon and Beer Classic glass, music, interactive games, and photo booths. The VIP Admission also includes early access to the event, access to VIP area and exclusive samples of craft beers on the field. Both types of tickets are all-inclusive and include all the samples of beer and bacon dishes you can handle.
3) Early Birds and night owls are welcome.
There are two sessions during the day-long event. The brunch session runs from 1-4 p.m. for general admission or Noon-4 p.m. for VIP, while the evening session is held from 7-10 p.m. for general admission and 6-10 p.m. for VIP ticket holders.
4) You're going to get carded.
This is an adult-only fest. All attendees must be 21 years old or over. Makes sense, doesn’t it?
5) Follow along like Phish.
The Beer and Bacon Classic is being held in six locations this year, so if you enjoy the experience so much at Target Field that you can’t wait until next year, just hop in the car and attend the Chicago event at Soldier Field on October 10th.
