Macdonald will no longer be heading the kitchen effective immediately, however partner Michael Larson, also a well-known, local chef with Italian pedigree remains committed to the project.
Chef Todd Macdonald has left @parellampls (although still a silent partner). "I will be moving on to a new and exciting endeavor," he said.— Rick Nelson (@RickNelsonStrib) January 1, 2016
Since opening this summer, Parella has earned mostly positive review reviews. City Pages critic Mecca Bos raved about the "subtle, impeccable and superb," food. Nelson counted the opening as one of the top 10 of the new year.
