Fast Casual Ramen Coming to St. Paul

Macalester students are about to get their ramen game upped.

Rah’mn will open in St. Paul this winter.

Rah'mn, a new Chipotle-esque concept is coming to college town. The fast-casual ramen shop will open near Macalester College in St. Paul at 300 Snelling Avenue South.

Diners will choose from a variety of vegetables, meats and broths to create their ramen soup. Owner Tryg Truelson, owner of the now shuttered and dozed Tryg’s in Uptown, said Rah'mn will be a convenient way for students and other visitors to get a variety of flavorful options for a reasonable price. There will be thousands of combination possibilities, all priced between $7 and $10. "The Rah'mn concept is positioned to be more 'mainstream' than your neighborhood ramen restaurant, as we aspire to compete with the Chipotles, Noodles, Paneras of the world," Truelson told Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal.

Although Rah’mn won’t be open until later this winter, the restaurant already has an on-line presence. Check out the web site here.
