Top Chef Casting in Minneapolis

As much fun as it is to watch Padma romp in various stages of semi-dress and observe the occasion Tom Colicchio takedown, the problem most episodes of Top Chef is that there are so seldom any homegrown chefs to cheer for. Minneapolis' most-notable cheftestant was Sara Johannes (at the time of Shoyu, now of Saint Paul College) who rocked her season and did us proud. But we have been short on Minnesota talent to root for on the Bravo television series. Perhaps next season that might change.
