Here's a nice little eye-opener for the Midway neighborhood. The newest location of Dogwood Coffee is open at 825 Carleton in St. Paul in a converted 1940's truck mechanic's garage. That's just steps from the Carleton Artist Lofts, next to Studio on Fire, a skip from University Avenue and a trot from Foxy Falafel. The Star Tribune's critic Rick Nelson paid the new location a visit and tweeted his experience.

The shop will also work as a gallery space for Studio on Fire Ben Levitz’s work, Nelson reported back in September when Dogwood's owner Dan Anderson first announced the project.
The shop features design work from Blue Dot and Loll Designs out of Duluth. The expanded menu also offers more drinking chocolates, including Oaxacan hot chocolate and a malted hot chocolate.
