Norseman Guest Bartender Takeover
The tiki gods are on the move: outside of Eat Street Social's usual spot and into the new cocktail room at the Northeast distillery. It's just a bonus that three of the bartenders are named Keith. So, if you need to get anyone's attention, just yell it. "Keith!" The odds are in your favor. The fun kicks off at 6 pm tonight.
Farewell Nye's Now through April 3
The last night of the historic and beloved bar is drawing near. Join the lines, jockey for space at the piano and settle into those glorious glitter boothes just one more time. There will never be another like it. (If only the same could be said for the condos set to rise above the location. Hope the owners sleep tight on their pillows stuffed with money.)

Midwest for a Million: A Filipino-inspired Unity Dinner
LolaRosa’s is cooking for a cause, and you’re invited. The popular Filipino pop-up is teaming up with Hidden Apron, Midwest Association of Filipino-Americans and Advancement for Rural Kids, and putting on a spread of those powerful flavor combinations Filipino cuisine is known for. The four course meal promises to "bringing together traditional recipes with modern sentiment and local ingredients," with proceeds helping provide meals to children living in rural Philippines. Will Filipino cuisine be the next big thing? It’s got our vote.
