On May 2 a restyled converted camper truck will roll up to Tattersall Distilling for its inaugural service carrying with it buckets of fried chicken, stacks of bologna sandwiches and more. The new mobile food venture comes from the same team behind Lyn 65, the just over a year old eatery inside a non-descript strip mall just over the Minneapolis border in Richfield.
Lyn 65 first opened in August of 2014 with a group of chefs and restaurant industry veterans striking out on their own. Ben Rients, Jason Sawicki, Tye Sullivan and Travis Serbus have led the restaurant into a regularly packed eatery that draws in diners from all over the metro area. The menu has evolved and one special that has gained popularity in that time is their fried chicken. Now, with a souped up, extra groovy camper loaded for bear, the crew is ready to embark on the next adventure.
The party gets going at 5 pm and lasts until midnight. A DJ will be spinning records befitting the van's decor and the Tattersall bartenders will be pouring cocktails designed just for the night. Get the full details here.
