HauteQue Returns For One Week Pop Up at Haute Dish

New, 1 comment

The most fleeting of barbecue joints in the North Loop returns for just one week.

The 'cue is coming back.

With the fires being stoked at new restaurants from Richfield's Q Fanatic to Eat Street's Pimento Kitchen, barbecue is definitely having a moment in the Twin Cities. It only makes sense that HauteDish would choose this time to announce the return of the annual pop up inside the restaurant: HauteQue. This year the party gets swinging June 6 through 9.

The annual week-long pop up has the tables dressed in red and white gingham with plenty of napkins and some seriously delicious house-made sauce.

HauteDish is perhaps best known as chef and owner Landon Schoenefeld's first restaurant and one of the first restaurants leading the trend of popular dining in the North Loop neighborhood. The menu features his unique takes on classic dishes including a singularly spectacular reinterpretation of tater tot hotdish.

All of the meats will be getting the smoke treatment including brisket, pork shoulder, St. Louis ribs, lamb belly and chicken. This  year, the event is sponsored by Lift Bridge Brewery.

The event is usually popular and reservations are recommended.
