Gamay Day
Gamay is a spirited little grape born in the Beaujolais, France region in the 15th century. The dark purple grape produces an aromatic and fruity wine perfect for these early spring evenings. To celebrate this little gem, Erik Eastman, Craig Coulter, Jon Olson, and Adam Gorski will host this year’s Gamay Day at Upton 43 on Sunday, May 1. Sample over 20 gamay wines and indulge in a multiple course gamay pairings dinner by Chef Erick Harcey. Tickets to each portion of the event must be purchased separately.
Wine Tasting: 3:00pm - 5:00pm - $50
5 Course Meal: 5:30pm - 7:30pm - $75
10 courses Chef's Table: 6:00pm - 8:30pm - $125
Bring your pup to the bar day!
Our fur babies get cabin fever too. Bring Fifi to the Freehouse on Sunday, May 1st for Sidewalk Dog’s May Day, a dog-friendly patio May Day celebration sponsored by The Freehouse, Tito's Vodka and Metro Dogs Daycare & Boarding.
The first ten attendees to request it will receive a free copy of the book Dog Medicine.
The event will benefit Mission Animal Hospital, a charitable animal hospital providing high quality veterinary care to those in need.

Tres De Mayo Taco Pop Up
Tuesday, May 3rd, is all about tacos, margaritas and beer: just as the gods intended. Starting at 8 pm at Heyday in the Lyn/Lake neighborhood, you can score specialty tacos, either al pastor smoked mushroom tacos, with chips and salsa crafted by sous chef Brian Werner, along with a house marg for just $14. Throw in shots of tequila and Tecate for $3 and the party may just last through Cinco de Mayo.
The Taco pop-up is held at the bar. Regular menu will be served in the dining room.
