Betty Danger’s Country Club will host its infamous Kentucky Derbatante Party on Derby Day, Saturday, May 7. Dust off your fanciest feathered hat and celebrate the 142nd Kentucky Derby Race, which will be showing on Betty’s big screens. Enjoy mint juleps, photo ops with real live racing horse and ponies, Tex Mex-ish fare from Betty’s food truck and much more. Tickets are $16.95, available here, includes a mint julep.

Canterbury Downs makes an ideal viewing location: what with actually being a horse racing track and all. Seating is available on the first three levels on a first come first served basis. If you'd like some guaranteed seats and the full meal package, there are still tables of four available for reservation at $700 that includes open bar, appetizers, exclusive seating for better viewing, not to mention a dessert bar.

Downtown Minneapolis' massive space Union is getting in on the action with contests for best dressed and best hats.  Plus there will be music from  DJ Strangelove and Jack Brass Band. Tickets are $27.37, available here.
