The Firefly Sisterhood, a non-profit organization fostering connections and support between breast cancer survivors and the recently diagnosed, is holding their signature event, Iluminight, on June 15. Enjoy cuisine from local female food and drink entrepreneurs like Erica Strait from Foxy Falafel, Michelle Winchester from Twin Spirits Distillery, Lina Goh from Zen Box Izakaya and more inside Muse nightclub. This event is an opportunity to connect with the female culinary community and help support those who face a breast cancer diagnosis.

Pinstripes Edina and Lake Monster Brewing are teaming up for a special four course dinner event on June 16. The event promises to lead diners through an interactive meal and discussion about the beer pairings. Some items on the menu will include a Beef tartare paired with English Pub Ale, Frutti di mare main course paired with Calhoun Claw Pilsner and beer battered brie cheese paired with Belgian Summer Ale. This charity event, supporting No Kid Hungry, an organization focused on children dealing with food insecurity, will be held on June 23 at Nicollet Island Pavilion and will include offerings from restaurants such as Monello, (a preview taste of) Cafe Alma, Draft Horse, Red Lantern Sushi and many more. Cocktails can be enjoyed from the likes of Bittercube, Norseman Distillery, Tattersall Distilling and others.

The 5th Annual Beer Dabbler at Twin Cities Pride will take place June 24 at Loring Park in Minneapolis. The beer fest kicks off Twin Cities Pride Weekend with over 50 participating Minnesota breweries serving special, one-off or infused beers that pay homage to advocates of the GLBT community. The fun pairings will include Lift Bridge’s "NPH FG" Farm Girl Infused with navel oranges, peaches and hibiscus honoring Neil Patrick Harris and Urban Growler’s "Honey I Bee Gay" honey IPA with a nod to Jane Lynch of Glee fame.
