Lucky for the rest of us, the secret of chef and owner Charlie Johnson's mastery of the smoked meat arts and he did not resist that temptation. The second outpost of his restaurant retains all of the alluring perfumes and without any gussying up or frills. The counter service still puts up some incredible ribs and a side of beans that cannot be missed.
