Paris Tasting Dinner at Vic’s

Put on your fancy pants for the 40th Anniversary of the Paris Tasting with Grgich Hill Estate at the Vic’s Restaurant on Thursday, June 23. The dinner, which celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the Judgement of Paris Tasting, will include wine pairings featuring award winning Grgich Hills Estate Wines from Napa Valley.

In 1976, Miljenko Grgich crafted a Chardonnay for Chateau Montelena and won the Judgement of Paris Tasting, beating the best of France and firmly planting Napa Valley on the global wine map. Grgich, along with Austin Hills, opened Grgich Hills Estate the following year.

Travail's Lakeside Party

It wouldn’t be summer without what has become the iconic lakeside bash to beat all lakeside bashes. Travail’s party started as a modest parking lot get-together with loyal patrons and has grown into a massive celebration of local food, drink, music, and community on the grounds of Lakeview Terrace Park in Robbinsdale. Food offerings will include Potato Salad Taco with smoked bbq pork shoulder with potato salad and chives, elote, skewered Yucatan style shrimp, and something called a Sexy Avocado. There will be lots more food items and beer for sale but bring cash, no credit cards will be accepted at the event.
