As previously reported, Mr. Robert’s Resort in Pengilly, Minnesota is in danger of closing its doors. The resort and restaurant, co-owned by chef Sarah Master and Dan Beckwith had a fantastic inaugural summer season last year, but fell behind on their payments after a mild winter that did not attract many visitors.
Red Stag Supperclub will host a fundraising dinner to help raise much needed funds in an attempt to keep the doors open at Mr. Robert’s. Chef Master will craft a four course dinner and wine pairing for $100 per person at Red Stag on Tuesday, June 28 at 6:30 p.m. Courses will include braised lamb belly, fried quail and sweet potato waffles, and New Orleans style cardamon beignets. Red Stag will also serve late night options including all you can eat snacks for $19 starting at 10 p.m.
