Roat Osha’s current building in Uptown will soon be demolished to make way for a new Walgreen’s (groan) but that does not mean the popular Thai eatery is leaving Uptown. Roat Osha will move to Calhoun Square in the Chiang Mai Thai space, which closed last winter after almost two decades, and hopes to be open in August.
Co-owner Steve Hein tells Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal to expect some menu changes but the heart of the cuisine will remain "authentic, distinctively crafted Thai food with a modern twist." They will also add more local tap beers.
