French cuisine is out, American Bistro is in.

Le Town Talk

The French incarnation of the iconic Town Talk Diner in Minneapolis, Le Talk Town French Diner & Drinkery, will come to an end after two years when the space exchanges hands in July, according to Rick Nelson’s Star Tribune article.

New owners Kacey White and Charles Stotts will reopen the diner with yet another moniker-  Town Talk Diner & Gastropub. The duo, who just like current owners Emilie Cellai Johnson and Ben Johnson, are a couple, plan a modern American bistro. Offerings will focus on seasonal ingredients with a farm-to-table, ever changing, accessible menu and a strong bar program.

The Johnsons, for their part, are still deciding on their next adventure. "We are working on some other projects, so stay tune," Cellai Johnson told Eater today.

And that beloved, sparkling sign? It will still be there, shining bright above Lake Street.
