Just over two years ago the Mall of America announced its largest expansion project since it’s opening in 1992. Luckily for us, this led to the Culinary on North food court and the addition of the incredibly popular burger chain with a cult-like following, Shake Shack. Sourcing beef from Revier Cattle Co. out of Olivia, Minnesota, the old fashioned wax paper wrapped burgers are the main attraction here, but nothing falls short from the cheesy crinkle fries to the creamy concrete custards, and of course, the local craft beers on tap (Summit, Grain Belt, and Lift Bridge just to name a few).
The restaurant is located in a bright and airy corner near the entrance of Culinary on North, with reclaimed bowling lane tables, wooden black slat booths and additional (more traditional) food court style seating just a few steps away.
