While the rest of us were crowding around the grill waiting for someone to char the bejesus out of something, a group of traveling musicians were in the Twin Cities for the holiday and in need of a quick bite.
At 6:05 p.m. Adele tweeted, "Happy 4th July America! Really happy to be here"

The "here" in question was an all-American, chrome lined diner. While, it might have been a few possible locations, the visible chairs were a dead giveaway. There are very few vestiges of the former life of the location where the Hi Lo Diner now stands. What was once a Taco Bell has been completely remade thanks to the transplanted, refurbished diner car. One of the only things to remain were a couple of chairs that once stood in the fast food restaurant that just happened to be the perfect shade of turquoise/teal for the diner's interior. (We first mentioned those chairs here.) Those seats are front and center in the photograph.
While representatives of the diner offer no comment at this time, that booth will forever be known as the the Adele seats.
Tonight the songstress will take the stage at the Xcel Energy Center to kick off her North American tour and sing her heart out to a few thousand friends and fellow diner fans.
