The Artichoke Dip Dream is Alive and Well in Bayport

The Wilder Scratch Kitchen is now open in Bayport. The chef and owner is Jeffery Lundmark who ran the kitchen at Stillwater's wine bar Domacin for several years. Serving updated comfort foods the menu promises tacos, steak, fried chicken and even artichoke dip (with bacon!) It’s open Tuesdays through Saturdays for dinner.

Break out the parrot gear, Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville opens tomorrow at the Mall of America. In addition to the obvious drink of choice, there will be a cheeseburger in paradise and other crowd-pleasers. Follow the tunes to the 3rd floor on the East Side.

The refresh at Black Dog Cafe and Wine Bar in St. Paul’s Lowertown neighborhood has been completed with the newly added brunch menu. Chef David Perez (who worked at Meritage) is running the expanded kitchen and the new has all the familiar brunch favorites from eggs to the black dog burger, plus a malted Belgian-style waffle. Black Dog is open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
